Cranberry Lake Building Company is a family-owned residential construction company, founded in 1986.
After decades of building throughout Southeast Michigan, we made the move to Gun Lake in 2019 to be closer to our growing family — bringing our experience, craftsmanship, and straightforward approach to building with us.
Today, we serve homeowners throughout Gun Lake, Wayland, Grand Rapids, and the surrounding West Michigan communities.

Every project is different. The plans, the site, the materials, the finishes, and the details all make a difference. That's why we don't like throwing out a price per square foot just to give someone a number. Two homes can be the same size and still be very different projects.
We'd rather take the time to understand what you're looking to build, talk through the details, and give you information that's actually useful for your project.
Once the work gets underway, we keep that same approach. Construction doesn't always go exactly according to plan. If something changes, we'll talk about it. If a change affects the cost or timing, we'll explain what's happening and what it means before moving forward.
Our goal is for you to always understand where things stand, what decisions need to be made, and what those decisions mean for your project.
After four decades in residential construction, we've found that good communication makes for better projects, and better relationships with the people we build for.
